Freestanding four-bay gable-fronted church, built 1922, facing north, having bellcote to gable over projecting Romanesque-style order entrance, projecting side chapels to east and west elevations, vestry and toilets to west elevation and porch to east elevation.
James Ellis built a Quaker meeting house in Letterfrack in 1850s, which became a Church of Ireland chapel. When the Christian brothers acquired the Letterfrack estates in 1882 the church was dedicated anew as a Roman Catholic chapel. After some years it became too small for the local population and in 1922 the new Church as built for the princely sum of £2000.
